The CD4070 employs complementary MOS (CMOS) transistors to achieve a wide power supply operating range, low power consumption, and high noise margin, the CD4070BC provide basic functions used in the implementation of digital integrated circuit systems. The N- and P channel enhancement mode transistors provide a symmetrical circuit with an output swing essentially equal to the supply voltage. This IC allows design engineers to directly implement positive logic exclusive NOR gate. CD4077 has a wide range of working voltages and conditions. The offers many features such as high noise immunity and static protection through clamping diodes.
What is EXCLUSIVE-OR Gate?
A XOR gate is a digital logic gate that gives a true (1 or HIGH) output when the number of true inputs is odd. An XOR gate implements an exclusive OR; meaning true output results if one, and only one, of the inputs to the gate is true. If both inputs are false (0/LOW) or both are true, a false output results.
