CD4071 IC is a quad 2-input OR gate. It is a part of the CD4000 IC series. CD4071 is based on the complementary MOS (CMOS) technology, integrated with N- and P-channel enhancement mode transistors. The IC has an equal source and sink current capabilities and conforms to the standard B series output drive. All inputs to the IC are static protected through clamping diodes. The IC also offers features such as high noise immunity, low thermal dissipation. The output of the IC always comes in TTL, which makes it easy to use with CMOS, NMOS, and other TTL devices.
